New Easter Outfit

Can you tell that he is very proud of his new outfit? Yes he is a poser for the camera. He looks adorable! This is just a preview of his outfit. I still have to get the shirt for underneath the jacket. I will post a new pic then.

Teething Toddler

The joys of a teething toddler. I feel so sorry for him! I really can't imagine what it feels like but it looks like he is in a lot of pain. So yes we have stock in Orajel (which really doesn't touch it) and Motrin. Poor baby! I can tell that he is saying "thanks mama!" as soon as I put it on or give it to him or at least I can tell he is saying that by the way he looks at me! It's a really good thing that they don't remember this time in their lives! My big brother had a tee shirt when he was a baby that said "Teething is the Pits". Boy isn't that true! Ethan now has 3 teeth on top and 3 on the bottom. He is finally able to chew things easier. He mastered the Gerber Puffs and gradually eating more things that have more texture. I guess he is just taking his time. He's a goofy boy and we laugh at him all the time at the things that he does. I can't believe how smart he is and how much fun he is to have in our family. I couldn't have asked for a better boy to have. He was definitely worth the wait!

The Hills starts tonight!

Yes I know, I am going on 28 and love "The Hills" on MTV. This is definitely a show for the teenie boppers out there but is one show that I can't seem to miss on Monday nights. It's one of those things that you aren't sure why you are watching it but can't seem to stop. So yes I am watching it and I have Evan hooked as well. So he was excited to see what Spencer and Heidi are up to tonight. Haha.
Our little man has discovered that he can shake his booty and bounce up and down with music on. He still directs the music as he is doing this. He's a silly boy. Well you will probably notice that all my posts are pretty much about Ethan as he is my life! And so much fun to write about!! Until next time........

Our Little Director

Wanted to share that we have a lover of music. His name is Ethan! I always knew that he loved music from the day he was born because whenever he was crying in the car and music would come on, he would stop. And he loves the music that his daddy likes which is not always the most recent kind! Well, now when he hears music, he will move his hands like he is directing music. He is so funny! He knows that he is doing something that people are laughing about because he is smiling or sticking his tongue out the whole time he is doing it. He melts my heart that is for sure. One of his smiles will instantly brighten my day. I'll have to get it on video before he stops doing it. This might just be a phase and I don't want to miss it!

Ethan Turned 1!!

The Big Day arrived. Our little Ethan turned 1! It was bittersweet as I know that he is growing a little bigger everyday but I will miss having my little baby even though is still is one! He is truly a joy to us. I love watching him discover new things, get into everything, his smile, laugh and hugs! I love him beyond words. I cherish everyday that he has been with us and look forward to each new day. He had fun with his cake although he didn't eat much of it as soon as he realized that the frosting was about to go in his eye when he rubbed it. So that was the end of that. He loved opening his presents and discovering what was inside. We love him so much and I am so grateful that he chose us as his parents. What a gift he is!!!
